Yogashala has developed from an idea of inclusiveness. Where everything that we are is given value and added to our practice of yoga. Yogashala is an environment where yoga is taught on a personal one to one level, this creates a greater connection to the practice and its possible benefits.
The yoga practice can take many forms depending on the inclination, needs and personality of the practitioner. The aim is to cater for all learning styles and abilities so that the most effective approach can be developed.
Yogashala offers 6 yoga classes per week, all classes have a limited number of places (maximum of 7) so booking is essential. Yogashala places great emphasis on the development of a home practice so the class focus is angled towards education and self study.
The class structure is based upon an "integrated practice" where Asana (postures) Pranayama (Breath work) Mantra (sound) and Meditation can be incorporated within a single session. The foundation of an integrated practice revolves around adaptation and observation.
